Screen Printed Poster "Cities, like dreams, are made of desires and fears, even if the thread of their discourse is secret, their rules are absurd, their perspectives deceitful, and everything conceals something else."

The book ‘Invisible Cities” was conceived by Italo Calvino as a last love poem addressed to the city, at a time when it was becoming increasingly difficult to live there. To Calvino the city had always been a fertile source of inspiration and a weaving of paths — an open range of possibilities for encounters. 

To celebrate 50 years since the release of the book, I created a poster that “celebrates the book, while affording you an opportunity to highlight aspects of Bristol that may be overlooked, unseen or 'invisible'.
